Embark on a wondrous quest through time! Children, teens, and adults will be challenged to read and track their progress on our special reading log “map.” Begins June 3rd! Ends July 27th.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Shorewood-Troy Public Library presents to thee an opportunity to embark on a wondrous quest through time! This year’s Summer Read Program is Renaissance Faire themed! Children, teens, and adults will be challenged to read and track their progress on our special reading log “map.” Logs may be picked up at our Kick-Off Event on May 30th or thereafter at the library. Adults and teens may also choose to follow along on Beanstack. Play along for chances to win amazing prizes! Logs must be returned by July 27th.

About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.

Since its creation in 1975, the library strives to:

-Support lifelong learning for personal development and discovery
-Provide free and easy access to print and digital  materials and resources, along with equipment, facilities for public use and friendly knowledgeable staff
-Build community in a warm and welcoming space
-Promote the enjoyment of reading by offering a wide variety of materials, both recent and classic
