Did you know that many Birds of Prey (also known as Raptors) can be found in our area? Join Wings and Talons to see Owls, Hawks and Falcons up close.

Did you know that many Birds of Prey (also known as Raptors) can be found in our area? Join nonprofit Wings and Talons to see two beautiful birds of prey up close. You will learn fascinating facts about them and explore the various issues they face, including predator/prey relationships and the important role they have in our ecosystem. You will come away with a new understanding and a deep appreciation of these truly wild creatures that live among us.

Please register everyone in your party, adults and children.

Programming Policy: Please note - if you register and are unable to attend the program, please call the library to cancel or cancel your registration online. This allows patrons from the wait list to be added. Repeated no shows may not be allowed to register for programs. For full policy details, please visit our website.

About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.

Since its creation in 1975, the library strives to:

-Support lifelong learning for personal development and discovery
-Provide free and easy access to print and digital  materials and resources, along with equipment, facilities for public use and friendly knowledgeable staff
-Build community in a warm and welcoming space
-Promote the enjoyment of reading by offering a wide variety of materials, both recent and classic
