This exclusive tour will include a visit to Horticulture Hall, the beehives, and a behind-the-scenes peek at the propagation greenhouses.

Your City @ Home is a series of virtual field trips meant to give you the chance to explore all the Chicagoland area has to offer and is sponsored by multiple Illinois public libraries!

Get a front row seat as we travel through Chicagoland Museums and Institutions. With the Art Institute of Chicago, Garfield Park Conservatory, Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, and more on the roster, your April and May are sure to be months to remember. Lea by docents, you’ll get up close and personal with exhibits and behind-the-scenes peeks. This series is in partnership with multiple area public libraries. If you're unable to watch the program live, recordings will be available for a limited viewing time.

Communico registration with email address required for online program access. You will be sent the program link via email the morning of the program. Please check your inbox or Spam folder for an email from programs@shorewoodtroylibrary.org.

Registration for adult and teen virtual programs closes 12 hours before the program. 

If no one logs in to the virtual program, staff will cancel the program and end the meeting at 10 minutes after the start time.

Programming Policy: Please note - if you register and are unable to attend the program, please call the library to cancel or cancel your registration online. About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.

Since its creation in 1975, the library strives to:

-Support lifelong learning for personal development and discovery
-Provide free and easy access to print and digital  materials and resources, along with equipment, facilities for public use and friendly knowledgeable staff
-Build community in a warm and welcoming space
-Promote the enjoyment of reading by offering a wide variety of materials, both recent and classic
