Let's (virtually!) learn how to hand sew in this 3 part series, online program! Ms. Mara will teach you simple stitches and how to create your own fabric art.

Register to receive a kit with the following provided supplies: hoop, needle, thread, and pre-printed fabric to practice on. Ages 8-12.

Communico registration with email address is required to receive online program access. You will be sent the program link via email the morning of the program. Please check your inbox or Spam folder for an email from programs@shorewoodtroylibrary.org.

Registration for children's virtual programs closes 12 hours before the program. 

Programming Policy: Please note - if you register and are unable to attend the program, please call the library to cancel or cancel your registration online. This allows patrons from the wait list to be added. Repeated no shows may not be allowed to register for programs. For full policy details, please visit our website.

About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.

Since its creation in 1975, the library strives to:

-Support lifelong learning for personal development and discovery
-Provide free and easy access to print and digital  materials and resources, along with equipment, facilities for public use and friendly knowledgeable staff
-Build community in a warm and welcoming space
-Promote the enjoyment of reading by offering a wide variety of materials, both recent and classic
