If you’re nervous about using yeast but want to expand your baking repertoire, let Fr. Dominic the Bread Monk guide you on a journey through “The Scone Zone.”

In this live narrated PowerPoint presentation, you’ll learn the basic techniques for classic scones and some easy variations, like multigrain raisin and strawberry cream scones. Then we’ll go onto more advanced recipes like double chocolate scones with a layer of raspberry filling, and savory scones with bacon, cheddar and chives. There will be time for questions at the end of the program and a link to recipes. Zoom in and join us! Registration for adult and teen virtual programs closes 12 hours before the program. 

If no one logs in to the virtual program, staff will cancel the program and end the meeting at 10 minutes after the start time.

About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.
