Celebrate Women's History Month by celebrating and helping the women around us! There will be a donation box for unopened and unused shampoo, hand soap, toothpaste, and general cleaning supplies.

Celebrate Women's History Month by celebrating and helping the women around us! The library will have a collection box in the lobby for donations of unopened and unused shampoo, hand soap, toothpaste, and general cleaning supplies. At the end of the month, donations will be given to women finding support at the Guardian Angel Community Services. To find more information on how you can help, visit their website here.

About the branch

Shorewood-Troy Public Library is located in the Brookforest neighborhood just northeast of the Route 52/Jefferson St. and Brookshore Dr. intersection.

Since its creation in 1975, the library strives to:

-Support lifelong learning for personal development and discovery
-Provide free and easy access to print and digitalĀ  materials and resources, along with equipment, facilities for public use and friendly knowledgeable staff
-Build community in a warm and welcoming space
-Promote the enjoyment of reading by offering a wide variety of materials, both recent and classic
